Risk Management Solutions

The Professional Aviation Risk Management Association (PARMA) was established to allow members networking opportunities, safety and risk management information, and most importantly, participation in a hull and liability self-insurance group.  Within PARMA, the cooperative insurance reciprocal is marketed as the Professional Aviation Insurance Reciprocal (PROAIR).   PROAIR is modeled upon the Canadian Aviation Insurance Reciprocal (CAIR)

There is a large group of agricultural aerial spraying owners and operators who consistently demonstrate best practices in our industry.  PARMA members don’t believe they should subsidize high-risk operators who don’t take precautions and whose claims push up insurance premiums.  Instead of others profiting on these operators' good safety records; PARMA members are taking control of their own hull insurance.

PARMA members participating in the PROAIR self-insurance cooperative can purchase hull, liability and drift coverage, as well as coverage for personal aircraft. A cooperative insurance reciprocal is a more cost-efficient means of aviation risk management in an environment of escalating insurance costs.  ProAIR allows PARMA members to insure themselves and removes the unrelated outside cost factors such as hurricanes and aviation disasters that inflate insurance premiums.  PROAIR is a non-profit entity owned by PARMA members, and controlled by membership-elected board of directors.  PROAIR members share in the cost savings as well as the losses.
